Failed channel opening due to channel size

We have an easy solution for you

It's common to see an error like this when you try to open a channel:

[lncli] rpc error: code = Unknown desc = received funding error
from [...]: chan_id=[...],
err=chan size of ________ BTC is below min chan size of ______ BTC

If you see this error, this means that the Lightning node you are trying to open a channel to has rejected the opening, because the size of channel that you've proposed does not meet this channel's minimum.

Many of the bigger routing nodes enforce these minimums. For example, The Megalith Node has a minimum channel size of 1 Million SATS.

How can you solve this?

The trick here is to find a node that is WELL CONNECTED to a big routing node, but that has a lower minimum.

And to make your life easier, we've set up such a node:

THE MEGALITH NODE (FOR SMALL CHANNELS)

This node accepts channels as small as 50,000 SATS, and is well connected to the "big" Megalith node, so it should work great for sending and receiving payments.

Use the following URI to open a channel:
